Pages & Pens: Journal Club April '26
The overall goal of this event was to…
Noticing our inner voice and building confidence in our own judgment.
A space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with internal signals instead of external noise.
Identify subtle feelings we might otherwise ignore, leading to better emotional intelligence with intuition.
Share perspectives or and insights from others to broaden your own knowledge.
Strengthen our connections and create a sense of shared humanity and space.

Thank you again to those who attended, I look forward to seeing you all again soon! Below are the journal prompts about Intuition that were provided. This book excerpt is from Yazmine Awsem in Heart Led: A Guide to Intuitive Living & Creative Embodiment.
“Living life by intuition is a creative & alternative lifestyle. We are never abandoned or alone, our inner guidance is here for us, and with enough attention, intention, and care, you can build a strong and consistent relationship with it. We are taught to live life from our heads. To move forward with certainty and security, always knowing where we're going and when. To always have a plan. This will create a stable and predictable life, but will it actually give us purpose? Vitality? Aliveness? Living from the heart doesn't mean throwing logic out the window. It means going deeper than surface-level thinking. It means uncovering what we really want, not what we've been told we should want. It's about making choices that feel true to us, so we can be present in our lives instead of dissociating just to get through the days. It's about fulfillment that's real, not performative. Most of us know what it's like to feel stuck, dissatisfied and burnt out by our reality that we have to dissociate from our bodies to get by.” - Yazmine Awsem in Heart Led: A Guide to Intuitive Living & Creative Embodiment
What does the word intuition mean to you?
How do external factors (i.e. family, friends, society, culture, etc.) influence my relationship with my intuition?
What am I hoping to experience and create from having a stronger relationship with my intuition?
Reflect on a time when you followed your intuition and it led to a positive outcome.
What are aspects of your life where you allow yourself to be guided by your intuition? How does it feel to do?
Do you feel like you can trust yourself to make a decision that is aligned with your desires and not with your fears?
What’s one small way that you can begin to practice intuition? (i.e. intuitive eating, intuitive creativity, intuitive excursions, etc.)
